Dublin City Centre can be a busy place, especially when you’re in the city everyday as a student. Sometimes you may want to get away from your studies and curl up with a good book and relax. Which cafés do our members recommend to unwind and relax? Here are some of our book club members favourite spots in town to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax with a good book.

Books Upstairs - D’Olier Street

Dublin’s oldest independent book shop with a café upstairs, grab yourself a window seat and watch the world go by! Its location on D’Olier Street has less foot traffic than other busier streets and the bookshop below has a great selection of new and second hand books! Check it out here.
The Forum Café - Trinity Business School, Pearse Street

It doesn’t get much handier than this! The Forum café gets quite busy at times, but there are lots of seats and it can also be quite peaceful at quiet times of day! We also love our 10% t-card discount, every penny counts!
Mind the Step Café - 24 Strand Street Great

This café is about a 10 minute walk from Trinity. This cosy café is open much later than most cafés in Dublin and has a dance studio located behind and has a lovely cosy atmosphere.
